Over the past few days, our second clematis vine (on the left side of the arch) has flowered. It’s funny how much different this side is from the other. The blooms are not as bountiful on this side and the leaves are much more dainty.

It’s always lovely when the roses start to bloom. Our first bush never fails to give us flowers first – three are out today! The amount of buds on this bush today are unreal!

The first clematis to bloom this year is neither of the ones growing on our arbor – it’s one that the neighbours took out years ago. It’s coming back now beautifully on our side. This is one of the first beautiful flowers.

We received this lovely update on “Patches” the other day! Bailea is a wonderful puppy. She is very small -just over 5 lbs and most likely will not get much bigger. She is fearless and very wiggly. Have to keep a sweeter on her gust…

Our climbing hydrangea is giving us some beautiful little flowers (the lady at Royal Botanical Gardens) told us that rarely happens in its first year. Now we just have to figure out where to plant it.
