These little house structures are called cabanas. You can sit and relax in this area in your own personal cabana. There are little couches inside and you can pull a curtain across for privacy.

This is the front of our hotel. It is called the Hyatt and is on Mission Bay. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown San Diego from here.

It is really neat to see such different types of plants and trees that we don’t see at home. These are called palm trees.

We arrived in San Diego just after 3:00 in the afternoon (their time – they are three hours behind us!) so that would have been 6:00 in the evening at home. Weird, aye?!
