We had a very special surprise the other night when the girls arrived home to find a package addressed to them on the front step from Santa. What could it be? The girls were pretty sure that it was an Elf on The Shelf come to spend time with our family but, of course, no one could be sure.

Could it be?

By the time I got home the package had been placed in the tree (we haveb’t had a chance to decorate it yet) and the girls were waiting oh so patiently.

What will we name her? Medea and Tanit had generated a long list of names in anticipation that they had indeed received an Elf on the Shelf from Santa.

“Molly Lou Mellon” it is!

Momma carefully placed Molly Lou Mellon (still in her transportation device) on top of the entertainment unit and Medea jumped right in to reading the story to Tanit. Molly Lou watched on from above.
